There is handwriting recognition in mozaBook. This means that handwritten words can be transformed into a digital text. mozaBook uses Windows’ own handwriting recognition function. The handwriting recognition of the language pack of Windows must be installed in order to use the text recognition. You can check this the following way:
• Click on the language settings on the right side of the tray and choose More keyboard settings. (1) (Or Settings => Time and language => Language and region)
• In the pop-up window, you can check whether handwriting recognition is available for the chosen language. (2)
In mozaBook, you can use handwriting recognition in two ways:
• Using the Text recognition pen (3)
In this case, mozaBook recognises the handwritten text within 2 seconds and converts it into digital text using the selected font type. (4)
• Freehand drawing: select the handwritten text by right-clicking on it, then choose the Recognition option in the local menu. (5) The possible results of the recognition will appear in the pop-up panel.
In this case, you can choose another language at the bottom of the panel. (6)
